Silent-Pianist

As the snow Shivers outside And as the chill Takes you senses on a ride A white layer Frosts the ground Feelings of serenity and peace And re-found The snow gently dances down to the rooftops How beautiful it is Are my only thoughts. Icicles hang precariously Buffeting for room Summer now lays In its tomb So the bitter wind Does assail The taste of pollution Reminder of our fail The snow tastes bitter Pollution is awful This is why the world Is so terrible.

There was once a man who thought he could fight Death. This man was no different than you or me, except this peculiar passion of his. The man trained hard and long in preperation of his fight, but Death was oblivious to his preparations. Death had bigger things to attend to. But still, the man continued to train, doing push-ups and sit-ups until he felt sick. But Death still wouldn't come. The man allowed his actions to be fueled by his passions, even through the scorn of others. But soon, as all men do, the man turned old and grey, although his body was still in excellent shape. Soon, as must happen for us all, Death came to the man's home.

What a waste I've been replaced By a stranger with A peculiar face He plays my role Though he has not my soul But now all the pain Is taking its toll But for the life of me I just cannot see I had though that to Your heart I had a key My minds on the rim Just what do you see in him Is it because I didn't Obey your every whim You're absorbed in this quest To him you belong lest I do something To be the best But I will retreat and hide In none I'll confide And let myself be washed Away by the rising tide.

Where would you go If I left you now What would you do If I didn't know how I want to know What happens after I want to find out When I'm no longer a factor What places will you go What sights will you observe When it ends, when I say As a lover, I'll no longer serve Will you be better off Without me there Will you do better With me out of your hair And could you find someone else Someone to take my face A new person Who will take my old place I wish you the best I hope things work out But should you e'er need me Just let out a shout.
